Soulé Déesse's "Hermafrodek" was the 3rd artistic residency I had the pleasure to work on as a collaborator in the Black Box Experimental Theater at the University of Colorado, Boulder. As a technical art director, I helped "Hermafrodek" function as a public-facing, participant-activated installation and a performance interface for Soulé. Using 3d motion-capture technology, we developed a dynamic, immersive space that responded to the presence of people within it with sound, light tracking, and video cues.
